  • Registering for the conference does not include access to a pre-conference course on May 14.

MENTAL HEALTH & RESILIENCE TRAINING
FOR VETERANS, FIRST RESPONDERS AND LAW ENORCEMENT

Overview: Led by a licensed mental health professional and a decorated military leader, this session delivers practical tools to manage stress and trauma in high-pressure environments. Attendees will benefit from expert instruction, hands-on activities, and optional one-on-one support.

SAFETY FOR SUPERVISORS TRAINING

Overview: Equip your supervisors with the safety leadership skills they need to drive performance. This full-day course includes training on inspections, hazard recognition, incident investigations, PPE protocols, and more.

and mental health panel discussion

​This two-part workshop brings together safety leadership and mental health in one high-impact session:

 

Part 1 – Safety Leadership Workshop (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

Trainer: Mark Morgan, Executive Safety Advisor, Florida Chamber Safety Council and Author of The M.A.D. Safety Book for Leaders

 

Overview: This interactive session helps executives develop proactive strategies to improve workplace safety culture, employee engagement, and injury prevention. Attendees will receive a complimentary copy of Mark’s book.

 

Networking Lunch: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

 

Part 2 – Executive Mental Health Panel Discussion (1:00 PM – 3:00 PM)

Moderated by Dr. Nicholas Abid, D.O., MBA, FACN

 

Overview: The discussion will feature senior executives sharing personal and professional insights into addressing mental health and substance use in the workplace.
